Clouds

Nonfiction, Nature

DESCRIPTION: From wispy cirrus to towering cumulonimbus, from glowing sunsets to stunning rainbows, the skies offer an ever-changing, never-repeated spectacle. This photo collection is annotated with text by Henry Fountain, explaining how various kinds of clouds form and when one is most likely to see them.
REVIEW: I found this for three bucks on a clearance table. As someone who has spent a significant portion of her life skygazing, I really enjoyed these beautiful, full-color photographs of things I've seen (for the most part), but never managed to capture on film. I almost put this in the Art section, and I may end up moving it there; I mainly bought it for the beautiful photos, and it would serve well as a picture reference for artists seeking to liven up their skyscapes.
