The Infinite Dream Campaign

You step through a door to find yourself standing... somewhere.  There are stars all around, twinkling brightly.  Above you, around you... even beneath your feet, stretching to infinty in all directions.  You feel a rush of vertigo, not helped by the fact that you can't see what - if anything - you're standing on.

"Don't worry - you're in no danger.  At least, not much," a voice says.  You make out a shape, silhouetted against the starscape.  You can't make out more than the fact that the speaker is female and wearing some sort of flowing, hooded robe. "Greetings.  I represent the Master Dreamer.  You might say I'm her shadow.  I take it you've come to ask about the Infinite Dream Campaign."

"Yes - first of all, what is it?"

"The dreamworld has been around as long as - probably longer than - the human race has known of it.  It is the source of inspiration, a place where physics and rules and reality itself cease to have meaning.  It is a place anyone can visit, at any time.  However, our contact with this great and wondrous place is threatened."

"Really?  How so?"

"As we grow older, the real world increases its hold on our mind.  We find it harder to reach the dreamworld, harder to break away - indeed, we are told that only children and fools continue to dream throughout their lives.  If we listen to these voices, we all risk losing our sense of wonder, without which the world becomes a dark and bitter place."

"So, what is the point of the Infinite Dream Campaign?"

"The Infinite Dream Campaign is for anyone who wants to dream.  It is a way to remind ourselves that dreams are important, that imagination should never die.  It is a way to show others that we understand the value of our dreams.  It is, in short, another excuse for a nifty little graphic and link to post on your website.  So, do you want to help fight the Dread Demon Reality?"

Yes, I would like to help!

No, thank you, I think I'd like to return to Dreamspire Castle for now.

You're kiddin', right? What lousy excuse for a web campaign is this?
